Requirements

- A WebDAV server you control (most NAS devices include one — Synology, QNAP, Asustor, TrueNAS, and many others)
- Photos in JPEG, PNG, or HEIC format
Privacy-first by design
SuperSlide does not collect any data about you. There are no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, and no user accounts. WebDAV credentials are stored only on your Apple TV in the secure Keychain. Photos and folder names are read from your server only when you ask SuperSlide to display them. PRIVACY POLICY

SuperSlide is a slideshow app for Apple TV. It connects to a WebDAV server that you control to display your photos on your television. SuperSlide does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no user accounts.
What information SuperSlide handles
When you add a WebDAV source to SuperSlide, you provide the address of your WebDAV server, a username, and a password.
This information is used solely to connect to your WebDAV server and display the photos you choose. It is stored only on your Apple TV, in the following locations:
- Passwords are stored in the device's secure Keychain. They are never written to plain files, never logged, and never transmitted anywhere except to your own WebDAV server when SuperSlide authenticates with it.
- Server addresses, usernames, and your slideshow preferences (Ken Burns speed, transition style, source list, etc.) are stored on the device using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism.
- Playback history (which images have been shown, basic timestamps) is written to your own WebDAV server, in a small database file inside the source folder. SuperSlide writes nothing about your viewing history to any server other than the one you provided.
What SuperSlide does NOT do
- It does not collect analytics or usage statistics.
- It does not contain advertising or ad-tracking SDKs.
- It does not include any third-party services, frameworks, or trackers.
- It does not require a SuperSlide account, email address, or any sign-up.
- It does not transmit any of your data to the developer of SuperSlide or to any third party.
- It does not access your Apple TV camera, microphone, location, contacts, or HomeKit data.
Network access
SuperSlide accesses the local network (and the wider internet, only if you choose to connect to a WebDAV server outside your home network) for the sole purpose of fetching the photos and folders from the server address you have configured. The first time SuperSlide is launched, tvOS will display a system permission dialog asking you to allow local network access. SuperSlide will not function without this permission.
Data shared with Apple
SuperSlide does not collect data on its own. Apple may collect aggregated, non-identifying app usage information (such as crash reports) under your Apple TV system settings — this data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and not by us.
Children
SuperSlide is suitable for all ages. Because it does not collect any personal information, it complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by default.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated in the future, the "Last updated" date at the top of this section will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on the App Store.
