Lamalera

Lamalera is a small village in Indonesia, one of the last whaling cultures in the world, where the men still hunt whales the way their ancestors did. The film stays close to a handful of villagers, and through them gives an intimate first-hand sense of their everyday life, traditions and beliefs.
