An underground 'narrative resistance' group buries elaborate porcelain that supposedly belonged to a fictional civilisation, hoping that when the tableware is one day excavated, it will prove the existence of a counterfeit people — and support a future claim to the lands they are losing. By implementing its own myth, the work becomes a real intervention: de facto creating a nation.
