En dans for livet

Tonight is the 75th anniversary of the day a young Ebba sat in a Danish cinema and heard that five years of Nazi occupation were over — the day her work in the Resistance, and theirs, was finished. Tonight she should have been in a cinema again, for the premiere of our film about her — about her life under occupation and her part in the fight for freedom. The day, and the celebration of a free Denmark, didn't go as planned: another kind of occupation now confines us all, and that makes our freedom, and looking out for one another, all the more vital to remember.
